Yoana is a staff scientist at the Francis Crick Institute.

Before joining the Crick, Yoana obtained a BSc degree in Biochemistry and PhD degree in Cell and Molecular Biology, both from University of the Basque Country in his home country Spain. After some time in industry, Yoana held postdoctoral positions at University of Roehampton and King’s College London.
