Jana is a PhD student at the Francis Crick Institute and the UCL Cancer Institute, where she is co-supervised by Chris Tape. Jana is using patient-derived organoids and mathematical modelling to study the interplay between cell signalling and therapy resistance in colorectal cancer.

Before joining the Crick, Jana obtained an MSc in Biochemistry at the Technical University of Munich followed by a year as Research Assistant at the University of Cambridge.
