Branwen is a research engineer at the Francis Crick Institute.

Before joining the Crick, Branwen obtained an MSc in Earth Sciences from Oxford University and a PhD in Geophysical Fluid Dynamics from Imperial College London. Since then she has worked as a research software engineer, developing tools for modelling electricity grids and for facilitating health data research.
